Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 12 April 2026

AllCornwall is an independent editorial site. We are not owned by a travel company, tourism board, or accommodation provider. Our guides are written from personal experience and local knowledge, not from press trips or paid placements.

How we earn revenue

Some links on AllCornwall are affiliate links. This means that if you click through to a partner site and make a booking or purchase, we may receive a small commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay exactly the same price as you would visiting the site directly.

Affiliate revenue helps cover the costs of running AllCornwall — hosting, photography, research trips, and the time it takes to write considered editorial content rather than repackaged press releases.

Our affiliate partners

We currently work with the following affiliate programmes:

  • Sykes Holiday Cottages — self-catering accommodation across Cornwall, via the Awin / TradeDoubler network
  • Booking.com — hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses

We may add partners over time, but only where the service genuinely matches what our readers need. We will never promote a service we wouldn't use ourselves.

How we decide what to recommend

Affiliate relationships have no influence on our editorial decisions. We decide what to write about first, then — if an affiliate link is relevant and genuinely useful to the reader — we include it. Many pages on AllCornwall contain no affiliate links at all.

We will never:

  • Write a guide because an affiliate programme exists for it
  • Rank one place above another because of a commission rate
  • Include an affiliate link where a direct link would serve the reader better
  • Omit a recommendation because no affiliate programme covers it

How to spot an affiliate link

Affiliate links on AllCornwall are clearly labelled. When a link earns us a commission, you will see a small disclosure note nearby — typically the text "affiliate link" or a note in the call-to-action card.

The footer of every page on AllCornwall also contains this statement:

AllCornwall is reader-supported. When you book accommodation or activities through links on this site we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend places we'd send a friend.
