What AllCornwall is
An independent, editorial guide to Cornwall — beaches, walks, food, family days out, and the places locals return to. Written for people who want the real thing, not the hot list.
Why this exists
If you search for "best beaches in Cornwall" you'll find the same twelve beaches rewritten across forty websites, each one scraped from the same source, each one optimised for a search engine rather than a person standing in a car park wondering whether the walk down is worth it.
AllCornwall started from the belief that Cornwall deserves a guide written with the same care you'd take recommending somewhere to a friend. That means being specific. It means saying when somewhere is overrated, when the parking is a nightmare, when the beach disappears at high tide. It means telling you where the locals actually go, not where the brochure tells you to.
What we cover
AllCornwall covers the whole county — north coast to south, Bude to the Lizard, coast path to moor. Our guides are organised around genuine questions visitors ask:
- Which beaches actually work with small children?
- What walks can you do without climbing boots?
- Where should you eat that isn't a tourist trap?
- What do you do when it rains for three days straight?
Each guide is written from personal experience, cross-referenced with local knowledge, and updated when things change on the ground. We cover beaches, walks, family days out, food and drink, and curated guides on topics from surfing to hidden Cornwall.
Our editorial approach
Every recommendation on AllCornwall passes a simple test: would we send a friend there? If the answer is no, or "it depends on whether you like crowds," we say so plainly. We don't accept payment for coverage, we don't run sponsored content, and we don't adjust rankings based on affiliate commission rates.
We do earn revenue through affiliate links — if you book accommodation through a link on our site, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. This is how we fund the site. It never influences what we write.
Who writes this
AllCornwall is written and run by Mitch Singer, who lives in Cornwall. The guides draw on years of exploring the county — plus conversations with the people who know it best: the locals who've been here all their lives.
